WordPress MU 2.8.1

WordPress MU 2.8.1 ist nun verfügbar. Dieser Release schließt ein Sicherheitslücke und aktualisiert die MU-Plattform auf den Stand von WordPress 2.8.1. Ein Update ist somit dringend empfohlen! Die Versionsnummer “2.8″ wurde aus Zeitgründen übersprungen. Neben den Veränderungen aus WordPress 2.8.1, sind natürlich auch die Verbesserungen aus Version 2.8 enthalten.

Ein Update kann ganz einfach über den eingebauten Update-Manager gefahren werden. Alternativ kann auch man auch manuelle WordPress MU runterladen und die bisherigen Dateien überschrieben, dabei bitte die Datei “wp-config.php” und den Ordner “wp-content” nicht zu löschen. In beiden Fällen gilt, vorher ein vollständiges Backup der Datenbank und Dateien erstellen!

Auch die deutsche Sprachdatei hat eine Aktualisierung erhalten, sie kann im Downloadbereichen heruntergeladen werden. Beachte bitte, dass bei einem automatischen Update, die Sprachdatei trotzdem manuell aktualisiert werden muss.
