WordPress MU 2.7.1 veröffentlicht

Nach über 3 Monaten Releasepause ist gestern in den Abendstunden WordPress MU 2.7.1 veröffentlicht wurden. Diese Version beinhaltet viele große und kleine Änderungen, so zum Beispiel die völlig überarbeitete Pluginverwaltung für blogübergreifende Administratoren. Alle Änderungen in WordPress MU 2.7.1:

  • Neue Pluginverwaltung für übergreifende Erweiterungen eingebaut [1686]
  • Update-API für Themes und Plugins wird auf WordPress MU umgestellt [1687]
  • Die Site- und Home-URL kann nun unabhängig vom wp_blogs Eintrag bearbeitet werden (Jetzt ist es möglich, ohne Datenbankänderung ein www. in die URL zu packen) [1688]
  • Die Administrationsleiste (Admin-Bar), die mit WordPress MU 2.7 mitgeliefert wurde, ist entfernt und soll als eigenes Plugins ausgeliefert werden [1755]
  • Für die Benutzer gibt es eine neue Seite: “Meine Blogs”. Über die können sie ihre Blogs verwalten und den Hauptblog einstellen [1746]
  • Der XML-Import läuft nun unabhängig vom eingestellten verfügbaren Speicherplatz [1725]
  • Ein Dashboard-Blog kann nun eingestellt werden, zu dem Benutzer ohne eigenem Blog hinzugefügt werden (bekannt von WordPress.com) [1726]
  • Die wp-config.php-Konstate “NOBLOGREDIRECT” kann nun mit %siteurl% erweitert werden, damit auf Multi-Domain-Installation immer zum richtigen Hauptblog weitergeleitet wird [1742]
  • Die Meldungen “Blog wurde gelöscht”, “Blog wurde noch nicht aktiviert” und “Blog wurde archiviert” die beim Laden eines Blogs erscheinen, können nun mit eigenen Templates ersetzt werden [1718]
  • Blogübergreifende Administratoren können nun die Plugin-Seite aufrufen, selbst wenn sie für die Benutzer deaktiviert ist [1713]
  • Die Verwaltung von WordPress MU wurde an das neue Backend-Design von WordPress 2.7 angepasst [1693], [1694]

Natürlich wurden neben diese optischen Änderungen, auch viele Bugs behoben. Des Weiteren gibt es auch eine Neuerung in der deutschen Sprachdatei. Wir führen mit dem Begriff “blogübergreifend” ein neues Wort ein, welches dem Aufbau von WordPress MU besser wiedergibt und die bisherige Bezeichung “global”, die falsch war, ersetzt.

Benutzern von WordPress MU 2.7 steht die neue Version über das automatische Update zur Verfügung. Beachte bitte, dass die Sprachdatei noch manuell aktualisiert werden muss und ein Vollbackup empfohlen wird. Allen anderen steht WordPress MU 2.7.1 und die deutsche Sprachdatei in unserem Downloadbereich zum Download bereit.
