Vor wenigen Minuten wurde Version 1.2.3 veröffentlicht. Zu einem ist der Bug, der falsche Einträge in die Einstellungstabelle macht, behoben. Außerdem gab es ein Update der Codebase auf den Stand der aktuellen 2.2.1 Version von WordPress. Ein Upgrade ist empfohlen, da viele Bugs behoben wurden sind.

Vor knapp 10 Stunden wurde WordPress MU 1.2.2 freigegeben. Wie donncha im englischen Forum geschrieben hat, beinhaltet die neue Version den Fix für den wichtigen Sicherheitsbug und den Dashboardswitcher von WordPress.com. Außerdem wurde WordPress MU auf den Stand der WordPress Revision 5109 inkl. einiger Extras gebracht. Es wird geraten upzugraden, da große Sicherheitslöcher geschlossen werden.

Wie sich jetzt heraus gestellt hat gibt es in der Datei “xmlrpc.php” aller WordPress MU Versionen eine große Sicherheitslücke.
